First Down Morning Links

The Bills played inspired football on Sunday. The defense, led by Mario Williams, looked vastly improved from last year.
Are the Fins ready for their “breakthrough season”? This writer thinks so:
Brady has a lot of young player at skill positions, and after 2 weeks, this writer asks “Without Any Weapons, Can Tom Brady Still Lead New England Patriots’ Offense?”
Craig Hoffman gives his views on Week 2 for the Jets.

I wouldn't want to touch Rivers either.
How bout them Fins!! Not going to lie I thought we were losing that one after Luck was driving down the field with 4 mins left on the game. What a game, not going to scream PLAYOFFS but we're better for sure.
In other positive news, I heard that Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins have had special gloves made with 5 thumbs each in preparation for this weekend's game...
Just heard from the 72 Fins. They are concerned Tannehill is going to take this team to 19-0 and be considered the greatest team in history.
Some of the best looking teams in the league so far have key guys suspended that should make them even better when they return. Irvin for SEA and Miller for DEN.
I think it is only fair that because I ripped the Bills play calling after week 1, I should do the same to the Eagles.
Hurry up offense is great, but if you stick with it while you are clinging to a small lead you are going to lose.
@the hooded genius He'll be fine. Even a regular citizen with no money could get off on that one.
They need to hurry this up before the NFL gets a chance to fully go over the tape from Thursday night.
@cacalle True, but I'm questioning how good the Colts really are. They seem to have lost a bit of the 2012 magic...(that said, the Fins do look very strong this year)
@cacalle We are better.
@SlickVinny Did Giselle design the gloves?
@SlickVinny Sweet, all they need to do is soak them in stick'um overnight on Saturday and they might pull in 10 catches between them.
@iycedout They're average...
@SlickVinny They switched a tv to the Raiders-Jags game at the sports bar and everyone got pissed.
@SlickVinny Yes... yes that is.
Yeah, that shaky secondary of the Bills, so bad they got torched for 350+ against teams with actual NFL QBs.
Oh, wait, no they didn't. Good thing the Jets have such a great WR unit.
@Bpardo95 Mercury Morris will have him kidnapped before he lets that happen,
@iycedout Is the Jets OL as good as the Pats?
@joeyboy790 Well, that virtually guarantees the Bills will win. Thanks.
@joeyboy790 That settles it. Everyone go home now.
@iycedout Only because he has a head start on Mark Sanchez.
@gregstar52 They should be talking about the best qb in the afce... Tanny.
@nossorc Johnny can play some damn football. He is going to get a shot at the next level.
@iycedout Did you sign a real running back recently?
@iycedout Greatest team EVAH!!!!!!
@nossorc He's too small to get away with his running around, he'll get thrown around. Too much of his game is predicated on him getting away from sacks and pressure and that won't happen in the NFL, DEs and OLBs are faster, bigger, and stronger than he is.
@SlickVinny Actually, you're probably right. There's no way in hell he'd get away with the garbage he gets away with now, not in the NFL. That's basically why I don't like college football.
