The Dolphins fell to 3-1, but the loss gives way to areas where a young team can improve. Covering TEs is one of those areas.
The majority of football fans saw that Tannenbaum flew the Jets in the wrong direction, but is Idzik doing the same? This writer thinks so:
Here’s a really nice breakdown by John Murphy of the Bills-Ravens game. Tons of stuff you may not have noticed the first time around.
The loss of Wilfork on the DL is obviously a big loss. Here’s a look at how the Patriots were able to overcome it against the Falcons:

wow, is all i gotta say
Props to mikesfriedrice for this:
DETROIT -3-110 @ Home vs Chicago
my power numbers now have Detroit as the #3 ranked team, in large part due to the Stafford playing good enough to be the second ranked qb on my list while taking just 2 sacks so far. I have them winning by 8, so give the points.
“We got some turnovers and got the offense going and just fueled off each other,” Galette told Saints reporters Monday night. “Up front we just kept taking advantage of their weak tackles and their inside guys. I wish we could play them again so we could tee off on them again.”
But Galette did not stop there.
“It was a nice win, but I don’t think that team was as good as everybody was saying,” he said. “We just abused their offensive line all game.”
According to Galette, the Dolphins (3-1) were “talking so much trash while we were up by 25.” That may have had something to due with his postgame comments.
@Nikvoodoo only legit if cassel continues to start - right now I read its up in the air
@Nikvoodoo What do you need?
@CJ gets two many carries well nobody expect the Detroit d to pick cutler off numerous times and shutdown cal - so although he won the bet - twas the wrong reasons
still a balsy call and nice bet
@iycedout - You make is sound like there needs to be some Mouth to Blowhole Resuscitation....
@iycedout I need a link, I'm far too lazy to go looking for it myself.
@rcr1959 - Burning your new Tannchize jersey already??? For Shame.
@iycedout I'll never understand the personality that talk shiats when they are losing.
@iycedout - Trash talking while down by 25? That's very "Un-Philbin-like".....
@CJ gets two many carries not really sure. I'll consider pretty much any offer.
@iycedout You're just going to lob that nice fat softball up there for us?
Coach Joe Philbin referred to his team's pass protection as a "big concern."Ryan Tannehill has taken a league-leading 18 sacks through four games. Some of the blame is on the Dolphins for failing to establish Lamar Miller, but a lot of it is on Jonathan Martin. The left tackle has already surrendered four sacks and eight quarterback hurries while grading out poorly in run blocking. Things won't get any easier in Week 5 as Miami faces Baltimore.Related: Jonathan MartinSource: Palm Beach Post Oct 1 - 10:14 AM
@nossorc I'll never understand any sort of planned or elaborate showboating after any play.
I can understand an elated response after a TD or big sack, a fist pump or some jumping up and down, even spiking the ball, but anything else is just idiotic foolishness.
@nossorc I've been in situations where I was so pumped up I literally could not control myself, the adrenaline was flowing and I needed to do something with the energy, but doing a dance or striking so retarded pose is just not entertaining and it's poor sportmanship, imo.
