Bills:

Marquise Goodwin is making his way back.  He’d be a welcome addition to an already capable offense that’s putting it all together.

Fins:

Last week Fins fans were screaming about Thomas getting touches over Miller.  Here’s a little something that adds to your argument.

Jets:

Fire Rex!  Give Rex another year!  Renew Rex’s contract!?!?

Pats:

Getting Gronk back would be a huge upgrade to a stifled offense, but he won’t cure all their offensive woes.

Hey jerkweeds.  There's a new post...

A little life lesson brought to you by your friend Vinny.

If you think you may be suffering from a stomach virus or mild flu, do not attempt to beat it by eating an "angry whopper".  I feel like I had one of those hot sauce enemas that RCR was trying to talk BPardo into yesterday...

steelers jets is a trap game for the jets no matter how bad steelers have been playing

outside of the last game their D has actually been pretty good-  I think the last 2 games - steelers o has been putting up points

if both sides click we could be in for a long game - additionally geno has 1 turnover free game against a bad d - not sold yet

@MikeReiss

For those updating rosters at home, DT Andre Neblett will wear No. 71 with the Patriots.

Nothing says championship like an undrafted ['10] guy that was busted for PEDs and cut by the Panthers.

Had both Julio Jones and Owen Daniels in the AFCEFFL, I think my chestnuts are officially roasted

Speaking of Manziel Tannehill should go see his old back up to learn how to run around like backyard football when the pocket collapses

I remember watching him run all over Notre Dame a few years back.

I think PIT and NYG are trap games for everyone right now. Both teams are capable of having a big game and beating almost anyone.

I do like our dl matchup vs their ol but still its big ben and hes caused us problems in the past

CJ gets two many carries

I'll trade you Tony Gonzalez and your choice of my 3 back up WRs for a decent RB2 or QB2

Bernie Kosar will blame MIA's o-line publicly before Tanne does.

Schaub is average but so is Yates. Anyone they could sign at this point would be 5 times worse than either of them.

@the hooded genius couldn't agree more - I don't feel the giants are nearly as bad as their record suggests but the OL/DL injuries do hurt

I'm sure he already has. Once troubled guys come to NE, they never make a mistake for the rest of their time here.

Their team would be inverted. Right now they can consistently beat bad teams but struggle against top teams. Manziel would give them the ability to beat top teams on occasion, and to lose to the bad ones more often.

As long as Peyton doesn't win another SB, I'm good. I made a couple bets with a friend before the Eli/Rivers/Ben draft. I lost the first [that Eli would win a SB before Peyton] but the 2nd is still in play [that Eli would win more for his career]. I got 10:1 odds on both so that could be a nice payday.

A QB that runs 4.5? Can you see him or is he a blur? We're used to 5.0- 5.5 up here.

@the hooded genius well he will now that reid is gone - he barely touches the ball considering the amount of plays they run some years-  not all years but some are frustrating - last year for him was tough

the hooded genius
the hooded genius

He's awesome. He's similar to Tomlinson and M. Faulk, but doesn't get enough national publicity.

the hooded genius
the hooded genius

Mine was a guess, I assumed he wouldn't have run a timed one yet.

the hooded genius

I bet Manziel is as fast as Vick right now, maybe a few tenths faster, but not in his prime though. I'd guess both to be around 4.4.

iycedout

@the hooded genius probably worse than vick - manziel does too much with his legs - nfl defenders are faster

manziel makes a. lucky toss up plays often which is weird...

b. his plays off his legs on broken plays

the hooded genius

He'd be like Vick. Explosive, inconsistent, always banged up by November.

@the hooded genius he might get a lot of credit, but if your franchise is a consistent winner, where else does the credit go to?

the hooded genius
the hooded genius

Ngata, Suggs, Webb, etc. He's one of the better GMs but sometimes gets too much credit [like BB has at times in the past].

@iycedout @nossorc @the hooded genius torrey smith...ray rice...flacco (he isn't worth 100 milli, but he won them that superbowl)...oher...marshal yanda, jamal lewis

A source tells ProFootballTalk that the Texans can get out of Matt Schaub's contract relatively cheaply following this season.

Schaub has thrown a pick-six in three straight games, leading to a 2-2 record. Fans are burning his jersey outside the stadium. So even though the Texans signed Schaub to a five-year, $66 million contract a year ago, the talk about going in a new direction is getting louder. If the Texans designate Schaub as a post-June 1 cut following this season, the 2014 cap hit would be $3.5 million. In 2015, $7 million in dead money would apply. But the Texans would save his $10 million 2014 base salary and another $1 million in bonuses. Regardless, we wouldn't expect the Texans to bail on Schaub so quickly -- he's by far their best option and has a track record as a fine game manager. You just can't ask him to win games.
